THE PERPINVOICE GUIDE

A clear path from invoice to income.

Understand the invoice, choose the right payment mode, and keep the outcome in view.

Start with the demo

Open a demo workspace to explore sample clients, invoices, protection and reports. You can create your own demo invoices, generate PDFs, open public payment previews, simulate partial or full payments, and close simulated protection. Everything is labeled and stored separately from live activity. No wallet is required.

Choose how the amount is fixed

Fiat-fixed means the amount owed stays in USD, EUR or GBP. A current server-side quote determines how much crypto the client needs to send. This mode does not need a short against the asset during the unpaid period.

Crypto-fixed means the client owes a set quantity, such as 9 ETH. Its fiat value changes with the market. This is the receivable exposure that optional short protection is designed to offset. The original fiat amount remains available as a reference in your records.

Create and share an invoice

  1. Choose a saved client or add a new one.
  2. Add line items, tax, any discount, and a due date.
  3. Choose the denomination, crypto asset and amount mode.
  4. For a crypto-fixed invoice, choose a protection percentage.
  5. Review the details and create a draft or issue a payment link.

Invoice totals apply discount before tax. Your client sees payment instructions and a clear amount; seller-side protection does not appear on their page. Email delivery requires an enabled email integration and verified sender.

Payment quotes and confirmation

Fiat-fixed quotes expire after a short period. Always use the asset, network, destination and exact quantity shown on the current payment page. A wallet submission is not payment confirmation. The server verifies the transfer using chain data and the required confirmations before updating the invoice.

Unsupported networks are unavailable. Partial, late, excess or ambiguous payments may require reconciliation. A transaction can only be allocated once.

Choose and close protection

The scenario calculator shows a linear short against a crypto-fixed receivable. It offsets some of the decrease if prices fall and some of the increase if prices rise. At 80% coverage, 20% of the original price exposure remains before costs and other risks.

Live manual protection requires an explicitly configured venue account, restricted signing access and a fresh quote. Payment confirmation and hedge closure are separate events. Review the position after partial payment or cancellation, and close or adjust it as appropriate. An uncertain execution stays unresolved until venue reconciliation; the app does not blindly send another order.

Read the settlement

Your report separates payment value at receipt, hedge offset, funding and fees. Live venue costs remain pending until confirmed and show their actual settlement currency. Received crypto can still change value after the hedge is closed; a report does not imply that it was converted to fiat.

Configure a live workspace

Live access needs a dedicated authentication/database project, your business information, receiving wallets, reliable pricing and chain services. Manual hedge execution also needs a bound venue account with explicit execution enabled. Features remain unavailable until configured. Check Settings → Connections for the current workspace’s capability status.

Protection reduces directional exposure; it does not guarantee invoice value. Read the security and risk overview before using live protection.
